Returns policy


If you change your mind about your purchase, please return the unused goods to us with the original till receipt within 14 days and we will offer you an exchange or a credit note. This does not affect your usual consumer rights, including your right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Distance Selling Regulations

If you buy online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 7 working days of receipt. This includes any delivery charge, but excludes the products listed as exceptions below.

Products we're unable to cancel, refund or exchange

Unless faulty or not as described, we cannot refund or offer an exchange on:

·         Personalised, bespoke or made-to-measure products

·         Perishable goods such as flowers and food

Terms & Conditions

General: These terms cancel all previous terms. Clients will be deemed to have agreed to these terms by and when ordering.

Availability: All orders are accepted subject to availability.  No liability is accepted for non-availability of stock.  Orders will not be held for more than two weeks. Cancellations cannot be accepted except by mutual agreement, and any cancellations received so late as to leave us with stocks on hand will be subject to a charge of 30% of the value of the items cancelled.

Prices: All retail prices include V.A.T. but not delivery (unless stated). We reserve the right to alter the prices without prior notice.

Substitutions: A similar plant variety and quality will be provided should any particular plant be unavailable unless “NO SUBSTITUTES” is clearly stated on the order.

Payment: Payment is accepted by Credit / Debit card. 

Complaints: We cannot be held responsible for losses caused by frost, drought, poor planting conditions or bad weather. Every endeavour is made to keep all stock true to name and free from all pests, viruses and other diseases, however no warranty is offered concerning the health of a plant once it has left the nursery. No liability whatsoever is accepted for any consequential loss or damage, cost expenses or any other claim. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the goods upon collection or delivery. Under no circumstances will any claim for loss of profit or additional expenses incurred in excess of our invoice value be considered.  Any complaint must be noted on the collection or delivery note and confirmed in writing within seven days.

Title to the Goods: Title to the goods shall remain vested in Cedar Nursery and shall not pass to The Buyer until the purchase price for the goods has been paid in full and received by Cedar Nursery.
