The  beauty of using this material is that it is completely natural and will blend in harmoniously with  almost any building. Oak frames need no extra maintenance once they have been erected and  can last for over a century. As the timber is exposed to the elements it will mellow to a beautiful  silver hue. If you wish to keep the original lighter colour, you can treat the timber with oil once the  building has been finished.
