Full Time Retail Sales Advisor @ Kitchen In The Garden

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Retail Sales Advisor at Kitchen in the Garden, based within the nursery.

Essential to the Role:

Do you enjoy outdoor cooking? Kitchen In The Garden @ Cedar Nursery are looking for a full time Retail Sales Advisor for our high-end bespoke outdoor kitchen and BBQ department. 

Are you confident with face-to-face, telephone & email correspondence with clients? Are you practical with a hands-on approach? Do you enjoy working as part of a team and are prepared to help colleagues from other business groups?

You will need to be able to move stock around our storage areas and make or assist with local deliveries when required so a Full clean driving licence is essential and you must be comfortable driving a van. General IT skills: Email & Microsoft (training given on software packages)

Responsibilities:

  • Sales, advice & technical support for all Kitchen In The Garden products
  • Monitoring of sales performance, proactively build sales & convert enquiries
  • Purchasing & Aftersales support
  • Stock control
  • Delivery preparation: palletising stock, using forklift where necessary
  • Make local deliveries or assist if driver is to capacity

Desirable:

  • Sales experience in a retail environment
  • Practical, good at problem solving and technically minded
  • Forklift experience (if not, training will be provided)
  • Experience in retail, purchasing & fulfilment
  • Experience in retail stock management
  • Could you demonstrate your cooking skills to others?
