Salvia rosmarinus (Prostratus Group) 'Capri' - 2 litre (Rosemary)
Common name: Capri Trailing Rosemary
Description: This attractive prostrate form of rosemary creates a cascading habit that makes it perfect for spilling over walls, containers and raised beds. 'Capri' features slender, aromatic, needle-like foliage in a deep green colour with the characteristic resinous fragrance when touched or brushed against. During spring and summer, and often with a second flush in autumn, the plant produces an abundance of small but showy blue flowers that contrast beautifully against the evergreen foliage. As part of the Prostratus Group, this cultivar has a distinctly trailing or ground-covering growth pattern rather than the upright habit of common rosemary. The woody stems become increasingly gnarled and characterful with age, adding to its Mediterranean charm and appeal.
