After a successful city career in law, Lynda turned her skills to horticulture and has been with us since 2005. Enthusiastic, smart and energetic, Lynda juggles two roles at Cedar Nursery.

In addition to being a knowledgeable and experienced member of the nursery team, she also works closely with the landscape design team producing plant placing schemes to deliver the best creative results for her clients.

When she's not living locally with her husband and 3 almost grown-up children, she can be found enjoying the high-life in the Alps.

Carina Horn
Plant Area Assitant

carina@landscaping.co.uk

Another member of Cedar Nursery's multi-disciplined team, Carina joined us more than 10 years ago and, over the years, has seen the business grow. During this time she has been active in many different areas but now spends most of her time in the plant area; she has an incredible eye for detail and tidiness.

Carina comes from Norway and brings with her a refreshing, northerly and no-nonsense attitude to all her duties and activities here.

She is a keen horticulturist and spends many hours redesigning and working in her own garden. Carina lives locally with her husband and 3 sons.

Ann Lufflum

A senior member of the nursery team, Ann started at Cedar Nursery in 2004 after completing her National Diploma in Horticulture at Merrist Wood. She is mainly responsible for plant maintenance, till sales and has expert knowledge on plant cultivation.

Ann is particularly keen on kitchen gardens and is a regular visitor to the gardens at Wisley. She is an inspirational mentor not only to our weekend boys but she also does gardening with teenagers with special needs. Her favourite space in her own garden is her Lenten Rose and fern bed and her advice to would-be gardeners is “go with the soil".

She lives near Epsom with her husband and in spite of grand-parenting duties, she is just as partial to a rock festival as she is to a literary society.

Oscar

Oscar has been working at Cedar Nursery since 2004 and has become a very valued member of staff. His responsibilities include human resources and customer services; he is especially good with acclimatising children to canines in a stress-free environment. He is inspired by all outdoor spaces and his hobbies include chasing foxes, deer and rabbits in the countryside. He is a great gourmand and enjoys fine dining.

Hector

Hector works alongside Oscar and Stanley as part of the Nursery's canine unit, whose role includes customer liaison and service. As the most alpha member of the team, Hector enjoys certain privileges of his seniority. Although he is a star he keeps it real and is just as happy mixing with A-listers as he is with Z-listers.

Stanley

Stanley works directly under Oscar and Hector in BBQs and outdoor kitchens. His role is currently PR but he will continue to take on more responsibilities as he matures. He only works in the mornings and takes his work seriously, clearing away any scraps of food items left lying around as well as recycling gravel through his alimentary canal.
