Carex testacea 'Prairie Fire'

A graceful evergreen ornamental grass, commonly known as Orange New Zealand sedge, valued for its natural habit, providing year-round structure and foliage.

It grows to around 0.6m tall with a spread of 0.75m. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. It produces brown flowers. Reliably hardy across most of the UK.
