Our largest propane cylinder at 47kg, for sustained, high-output use - commercial heating, catering and applications that would empty smaller bottles too quickly. Propane performs in cold conditions, making it dependable year-round.
Uses a screw-on bullnose regulator (not included), fitted with a spanner. Heavy cylinder - please bring suitable transport. Available to collect from Cedar Nursery; see the connection guide below before first use.

Our Calor Gas cylinders can be purchased in store and collected directly from Cedar Nursery in Cobham. Due to transport restrictions on gas cylinders, we are unable to offer home delivery on these products. Please pop in to see us or call ahead to check availability before making a special trip.

Propane Gas Connection Guide
Before you connect, you should always check:
- Check your bullnose connection is clean and undamaged
- Make sure you have the correct sized spanner

Let’s get connecting!
- Turn the valve hand wheel off by turning it clockwise
- Unscrew and remove the protective plug from the valve outlet
- Check the bullnose connection on the regulator for any damage before connecting
- Next screw the hose anti-clockwise into the gas bottle
- Make sure the gas bottle connection is tight! Use a suitable spanner for this
- To use the gas, turn the valve hand wheel anti-clockwise
Don’t forget to disconnect
- Turn the valve hand wheel off (clockwise rotation)
- Except for multi-bottle installations with a changeover valve, turn off the gas tap if it’s fitted to the appliance. Wait until the burner and pilot lights have gone out. If the flame doesn’t go out, leave the appliance alight and contact the Calor gas emergency service number on 03457 444 999. For installations with a change-over valve, you only need to turn off the empty gas bottle
- Never remove the regulator (or connecting nut) with the bottle valve open
- Use a spanner to remove the regulator by turning it left
- Replace the protective plug into the valve outlet
