Common name: box elder

Description: A rarely seen box elder selected for its dazzling bright yellow bark, which glows in the winter garden once the leaves have fallen. Pale green pinnate leaves turn soft yellow in autumn ahead of the main winter display.

Height & spread (approx.) at 10 years: 3m x 2m (best treated like a coloured-stem dogwood and cut back periodically)
