Acer pseudoplatanus f. variegatum 'Prinz Handjery' (v) t/w - 25 litre
A first-rate deciduous tree, commonly known as Sycamore, offering real character in the landscape, grown for its yellow flowers in spring.
Expect it to reach around 3m tall by 2.5m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for attractive grey bark. Fully hardy throughout the UK and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees.
