Agave chiapensis
Description: Agave chiapensis is an attractive, medium-sized agave from the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico, producing a neat rosette of broad, grey-green to blue-green leaves with toothed margins and a firm terminal spine. It is noted for being somewhat more tolerant of shade and cooler, moister conditions than many agaves, making it a useful choice for UK gardens where conditions can be challenging. Its relatively compact habit makes it well suited to containers and sheltered courtyard plantings.
Other benefits: excellent for containers, architectural specimen, drought tolerant, low maintenance, deer resistant, more shade tolerant than most agaves
