Common name: Weber's agave

Description: Agave weberi is a large, impressive agave forming an open rosette of broad, pale blue-green to grey-green leaves with finely toothed margins and a slender terminal spine. It is one of the more vigorous agave species and develops into a substantial architectural plant over time, making a dramatic focal point in a sheltered courtyard or large container. Mature specimens can eventually produce a towering flower spike reaching several metres in height.

Other benefits: architectural specimen, drought tolerant, low maintenance, deer resistant, suitable for large containers

Height & spread (approx.) at 10 years: 1.2m x 1.5m

Soil pH: Neutral to slightly alkaline; tolerates poor soils if well-drained
