Astrantia 'Buckland'

A fine deciduous herbaceous perennial, commonly known as Masterwort, for cottage-style or mixed plantings, grown for its pink flowers in summer, autumn.

It grows to around 0.75m tall with a spread of 0.5m. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and prefers moisture-retentive soil. Fully hardy throughout the UK and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
