Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost' - 2 litre
Common name: Siberian Bugloss Jack Frost
Description: This outstanding foliage perennial is celebrated for its spectacular silvery-white leaves that appear to be frosted with ice. The large, heart-shaped leaves display an intricate pattern of silver overlay with delicate green veining creating a lace-like effect that illuminates shady areas of the garden. In mid to late spring, airy sprays of small, bright blue forget-me-not-like flowers appear on slender stems above the foliage, creating a charming cloud of colour. The flowers resemble those of true forget-me-nots but are held in more open, branching clusters. 'Jack Frost' forms substantial clumps of luminous foliage that remain attractive throughout the growing season, providing months of interest long after the spring flowers have faded. This cultivar is remarkably slug-resistant compared to many shade-loving perennials and makes an exceptional ground cover for woodland gardens or shady borders.
