An excellent deciduous tree for structure and long-term presence, notable for fine autumn tints.
Growing to around 8m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for attractive grey bark and green fruits. Fully hardy throughout the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
