Carpinus betulus 'Frans Fontaine' - Feathered 250 cm

A handsome deciduous tree, commonly known as Slender hornbeam, that makes a fine specimen in the garden, notable for fine autumn tints.

Reaching around 5m tall by 1.5m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Fully hardy throughout the UK.
