Ceanothus 'Concha'

An attractive evergreen shrub, commonly known as California lilac, that performs well in a range of garden settings, grown for its blue/purple flowers in spring.

Expect it to reach around 1.7m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and needs good drainage and is drought-tolerant once established. Hardy in most UK gardens and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
