Ceanothus 'Italian Skies'

A versatile evergreen shrub, commonly known as California lilac, that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, grown for its blue flowers in spring, autumn.

Reaching around 1.8m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and needs good drainage. Hardy in most UK gardens and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees.
