Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana Gracilis' (Cypress)

An interesting evergreen conifer, commonly known as Hinoki cypress,, well suited to a range of garden conditions, providing year-round structure and foliage.

Reaching around 1m tall by 0.5m wide at 10 years. It is best in full sun, though it tolerates some shade, in acid to neutral soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Fully hardy throughout the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
