Cornus alba 'Elegantissima' (v) (Dogwood)

An attractive deciduous shrub that performs well in a range of garden settings, notable for fine autumn tints.

Expect it to reach around 1m tall by 1m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. It produces white flowers in summer, with ornamental red stems. Fully hardy throughout the UK and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and butterflies.
