Cornus controversa 'Variegata' (v)

An excellent deciduous tree for structure and long-term presence, notable for fine autumn tints.

Growing to around 2m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. It produces white flowers in summer. Reliably hardy across most of the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
