Cornus sericea 'Hedgerows Gold' (Dogwood)

A versatile deciduous shrub, commonly known as Red osier dogwood, that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, notable for fine autumn tints.

Reaching around 1.5m tall by 1m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. It produces white flowers in summer, with white fruits and ornamental red stems. Fully hardy throughout the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
