A versatile semi-evergreen shrub, commonly known as Franchett's cotoneaster, that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, grown for its white flowers in spring.
Reaching around 2.5m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and needs good drainage. Notable for red fruits. Fully hardy throughout the UK and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and birds.
