Description: Arabis alpina 'Aubris Deep Rose' is a compact, mat-forming evergreen perennial producing masses of small, cross-shaped flowers in a rich, deep rose-pink in early to mid-spring. It is one of the most reliable and floriferous of the spring rock garden plants, forming a dense cushion of grey-green foliage that cascades attractively over walls, raised beds, and rock garden edges. In spring the plant is almost completely obscured by a carpet of cheerful deep pink flowers. It is fully hardy, low-maintenance, and ideal for sunny, well-drained situations including dry stone walls, alpine troughs, and sloped borders.
