Calibrachoa Cabaret Special Red Kiss
Description: Calibrachoa 'Cabaret Special Red Kiss' produces an extraordinary cascade of small, petunia-like deep red flowers, each bearing a striking dark star-shaped eye that gives this variety its name. The trailing habit makes it ideal for hanging baskets, window boxes, and tall patio containers, where the abundantly flowering stems spill outwards and downwards throughout summer. It is a vigorous and prolific bloomer, performing well in sun or light partial shade.
Other benefits: extremely free-flowering, excellent for hanging baskets and trailing containers, continuous flowering all summer, good drought-tolerance once established
Wildlife attraction: Small bees, hoverflies, and butterflies are attracted to the mass of flowers.
Height & spread (approx.) at maturity: 20–25cm x 30–40cm (trailing)
Position: Full sun to partial shade; best flowering in a sunny position.
Soil pH: Neutral; moist but well-drained compost is ideal.
Moisture: Water regularly during the growing season; calibrachoas are thirsty plants in containers. Allow the surface to slightly dry between waterings.
Winter hardiness: Frost-tender half-hardy annual; plant out from mid-May once all risk of frost has passed and enjoy until the first frosts of autumn.
