Capsicum chinense 'Armageddon' (Chilli)
Common name: Armageddon Chilli
Description: Capsicum chinense 'Armageddon' is a British-bred super-hot chilli variety developed to perform reliably in the UK climate while delivering an exceptional level of heat. It produces large, wrinkled, lantern-shaped fruits in a warm orange-red, with a Scoville rating that can exceed 1,000,000 SHU — placing it firmly in the super-hot category. Despite its fearsome heat, the fruits retain the characteristic fruity complexity of the chinense species, making them popular for hot sauces and extreme chilli cooking. Bred specifically for UK conditions, it crops more reliably than many imported super-hots.
Other benefits: UK-bred for reliable performance in British conditions; super-hot with fruity complexity; large impressive fruits; ideal for hot sauce making

Height & spread (approx.) at maturity: 60–90cm x 60cm

Soil pH: slightly acid to neutral (pH 6.0–7.0); fertile, well-drained soil or compost
