Description: Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae is an outstanding and highly useful evergreen ground-covering perennial, producing rosettes of dark, glossy green leaves and tall stems topped with long-lasting lime-green flower bracts from late winter through to early summer. One of the few plants that genuinely thrives in dry shade, it spreads steadily by underground stolons to form a weed-suppressing carpet beneath trees, along shaded walls, and in awkward dry spots. The chartreuse flowers are particularly striking against the dark foliage.
