Common name: Coral Bells 'Tapestry'

Description: This aptly named cultivar lives up to its name with intricately patterned foliage that resembles an elaborate woven tapestry. The large, rounded semi-evergreen leaves display a complex mix of burgundy, purple, silver, and green tones with prominent dark veining that creates depth and texture. The foliage colour shifts subtly through the seasons, offering different patterns and tones from spring through to winter. In early summer, delicate sprays of soft pink flowers on tall stems rise above the ornate foliage, adding another layer of interest. The sophisticated colouration and patterning make this particularly effective for adding complexity to shaded plantings, where it can be appreciated up close.
