Description: The purple Hyacinth is a richly coloured and intensely fragrant spring bulb producing dense, upright spikes of deep violet-purple flowers in mid-spring. One of the most powerfully scented plants in the garden, the rich, sweet fragrance carries on the air and is an unmistakable sign that spring has arrived. Excellent in pots, borders, and window boxes outdoors, or planted closely in bowls for a spectacular and fragrant indoor winter display. A timeless spring classic.
