Description: 'Astor' F1 is a vigorous, reliable sweet pepper producing an excellent crop of blocky, thick-walled yellow fruits from midsummer through to autumn. The fruits are sweet, crisp, and full-flavoured whether eaten at the yellow stage or left to ripen further, and the sturdy plants perform well outdoors in a warm, sheltered position or under glass. 'Astor' is an easy, productive variety that is well suited to grow-your-own gardeners of all levels.

Winter hardiness: Frost-tender perennial grown as a half-hardy annual; plant out once all risk of frost has passed and bring indoors or discard in autumn.
