Description: 'Red King' F1 is a classic and highly productive red sweet pepper, bearing large, blocky, glossy fruits that ripen from green to a vibrant, deep red. The thick, sweet, fleshy walls have an excellent flavour whether eaten raw, roasted, or in cooking, and the plants crop abundantly from midsummer well into autumn. 'Red King' is a reliable, proven variety that delivers superb results in a greenhouse or warm sheltered patio position.

Winter hardiness: Frost-tender perennial grown as a half-hardy annual; plant out once all risk of frost has passed and bring indoors or discard in autumn.
