Verbena 'Magelana Peach' (trailing)
Common name: Trailing Verbena 'Peach'
Description: Verbena 'Magelana Peach' is a warmly coloured trailing verbena producing clusters of soft peachy-salmon flowers over a very long season from late spring through to autumn. The gentle, warm tones of the flowers provide a softer, more naturalistic effect than bolder verbenas, and the colour combines beautifully with creams, whites, golds, and complementary pinks in mixed container schemes. Like all Magelana varieties, it offers excellent weather tolerance, strong vigour, and a reliably trailing habit that performs consistently in hanging baskets, window boxes, and large mixed containers throughout the UK summer.
Other benefits: warm, naturalistic peachy-salmon colour; excellent in mixed colour schemes; vigorous trailing habit; long flowering season; good weather tolerance
Wildlife attraction: bees, butterflies, and other pollinating insects
Height & spread (approx.) at maturity: 20–30cm tall; trailing to 60–80cm
Position: full sun; hanging baskets, window boxes, and tall containers
Soil pH: neutral (pH 6.0–7.0); well-drained, fertile compost
Moisture: moderate; water regularly; allow compost to partially dry between waterings; high-potash liquid feed through the season
Winter hardiness: frost tender; grow as an annual from spring
