A fine evergreen perennial, commonly known as Rough horsetail, for cottage-style or mixed plantings, providing year-round structure and foliage.
It grows to around 1.5m tall with a spread of 2m. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and happy in moisture-retentive or damp ground. Fully hardy throughout the UK.
