A reliable evergreen shrub, commonly known as Pineapple guava, well suited to UK gardens, valued for its fragrant white flowers.
Growing to around 2.5m tall by 2.5m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and needs good drainage and is drought-tolerant once established. Notable for yellow fruits and ornamental grey stems. Reliably hardy across most of the UK.
