Fothergilla major - 5 litre

A versatile deciduous shrub that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, valued for its fragrant white flowers.

Reaching around 2m tall by 1.5m wide at 10 years. It is best in full sun, though it tolerates some shade, in acid soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for good autumn colour. Reliably hardy across most of the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
