Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola'

An elegant deciduous ornamental grass, commonly known as Hakone grass, bringing movement and texture to plantings.

It grows to around 0.2m tall with a spread of 0.4m. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Fully hardy throughout the UK and a useful plant for birds. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
