A reliable deciduous shrub, commonly known as Sargent's hydrangea, well suited to UK gardens, grown for its blue flowers in summer, autumn.
Growing to around 4m tall by 3m wide at 10 years. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and happy in moisture-retentive or damp ground. Reliably hardy across most of the UK.
