A reliable deciduous shrub, commonly known as Hortensia hydrangea, well suited to UK gardens, grown for its pink/white flowers in summer, autumn.
Growing to around 1m tall by 1.5m wide at 10 years. It is best in full sun, in neutral soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Reliably hardy across most of the UK.
