Hydrangea paniculata 'Phantom'

An attractive deciduous shrub, commonly known as Plumed hydrangea, that performs well in a range of garden settings, grown for its white flowers in summer, autumn.

Expect it to reach around 1.5m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. It is best in sun or partial shade, in acid to neutral soils, and happy in moisture-retentive or damp ground. Reliably hardy across most of the UK and the flowers are a good nectar source for bees. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
