Common name: Lilyturf Moneymaker

Description: This robust evergreen perennial forms dense tufts of arching, grass-like foliage that provides excellent year-round ground cover. The narrow, dark green, strap-shaped leaves create an attractive fountain-like effect and remain handsome throughout all seasons. In late summer to early autumn, when many perennials are past their best, 'Moneymaker' produces abundant spikes of densely packed, violet-purple flowers held just above the foliage. The花 spikes resemble small grape hyacinths and create a striking display that lasts for several weeks. Following the flowers, glossy black berries may develop, adding further autumn and winter interest. This cultivar is particularly vigorous and floriferous, living up to its name by producing a wealth of flower spikes.
