Description: Magnolia x soulangeana 'Satisfaction' is a richly coloured deciduous magnolia bearing large, goblet-shaped flowers in deep rose-purple with a paler interior, produced in impressive abundance on bare branches in mid-spring. It is considered one of the freer-flowering of the soulangeana cultivars, and its bold, warm colouring makes it one of the most striking spring trees available for UK gardens. The flowers have a delicate fragrance, and the broad, architectural foliage that follows provides good summer interest.
