A handsome deciduous tree, commonly known as Eating apple, that makes a fine specimen in the garden.

Reaching around 3m tall by 3m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for red fruits. Hardy in most conditions and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and birds.

This plant is ordered in for you from our partner nursery in Tuscany, so it is not held at our Cobham nursery. Order online or call us on 01932 862473 and it will be ready in 2-3 weeks.

The quintessential English apple, raised in Buckinghamshire around 1825, Cox's Orange Pippin remains one of Britain's favourite eating apple.

This moderately vigorous tree produces medium-sized fruit with distinctive orange-red striping over a yellow-green background. The exceptionally aromatic flesh offers a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with complex, honeyed flavours.

Spring brings masses of pale pink blossoms, creating a spectacular display. Whilst somewhat susceptible to scab and canker, proper care rewards gardeners with fruit of unparalleled eating quality that epitomises the English apple.
