A good tasting dessert apple that becomes sweeter as it ages. It matures to a greenish yellow, smooth looking. It is a product of East Malling Research station in Kent and was introduced in 1966. The apple is ready for picking in early September and is eaten as soon as it's picked! Rootstock MM106 (Semi-vigorous) - up to 3-5m in height - larger, robust tree for grassed orchards, not suitable for small gardens, may need support for 5 years.
