An excellent deciduous tree, commonly known as Cooking & eating apple, for structure and long-term presence.
Growing to around 3m tall by 3m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for red fruits. Hardy in most conditions and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and birds. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
