An elegant evergreen ornamental grass bringing movement and texture to plantings, prized for its autumn colour.
It grows to around 1.5m tall with a spread of 0.5m. It is best in full sun, in acid soils, and prefers moisture-retentive soil. It produces yellow flowers in summer, with beige fruits. Fully hardy throughout the UK and the fruits provide food for birds.
