A graceful deciduous ornamental grass, commonly known as Oriental Fountain grass, valued for its natural habit, grown for its rose flowers in summer, autumn.
It grows to around 0.9m tall with a spread of 0.46m. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for brown fruits. Hardy in most UK gardens and the fruits provide food for birds.
