A versatile evergreen shrub that earns its place in borders and mixed plantings, prized for its autumn colour.
Reaching around 2m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil and is drought-tolerant once established. It produces white flowers. Reliably hardy across most of the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
