A first-rate evergreen large shrub or small tree, commonly known as Fraser's hybrid photinia, offering real character in the landscape, grown for its white flowers in spring, autumn.
Expect it to reach around 2m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. Happy in sun or partial shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Notable for red fruits. Reliably hardy across most of the UK and the fruits provide food for birds.
