Physocarpus opulifolius 'Dart's Gold'

An attractive deciduous shrub, commonly known as Common ninebark, that performs well in a range of garden settings, grown for its white flowers in spring.

Expect it to reach around 2m tall by 2m wide at 10 years. It is best in full sun, though it tolerates some shade, in acid to neutral soils, and prefers moisture-retentive soil. Notable for ornamental brown stems. Fully hardy throughout the UK. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
