An interesting evergreen conifer, commonly known as Colorado spruce,, well suited to a range of garden conditions, providing year-round structure and foliage.
Reaching around 1.5m tall by 1.5m wide at 10 years. It is best in full sun, though it tolerates some shade, in acid to neutral soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Fully hardy throughout the UK and a useful plant for birds. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
