An interesting evergreen conifer, commonly known as Chinese arbor-vitae,, well suited to a range of garden conditions, providing year-round structure and foliage.
Growing to around 2m tall by 1m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. Fully hardy throughout the UK and a useful plant for birds.
